Life wine

The vampire lord was walking silently in the back alley, his hunger was forcing him to go there tonight. He didn't feed himself since a few days. The night was calm and beautiful. Half of a moon was rising in the midnight sky, as the stars was setting themselvs in the night. Without a sound at every step he was doing, Villius was looking in the back alley for someone to drain the life wine.

He have noticed a young bandit who was looking at what he just stole from someone. Quickly, silently and discretly, Villius appeared behind the man. When he turned around he noticed that tha vampire was standing right behind him. Taken by panic, the bandit took his knife and tried to stab Villius 's stomach. Like a ghost, he was standing once more behind the man.

"Stealling was a mistake, attacking me was worse, but i won't blame you" Said the lord with his coldess voice.

Some shiver were running down the bandit spine, he was really scared. The fear was making his heart beating faster, which was attracting Villius.

"Oh lovely fear, let me take you away once and for all." In a heart beat, Villius's fangs were now in the bandit neck, he draining the blood.

After he drank everything that he needed out, he walked away, letting the corps lying on the ground.

*The lycan's will eat his flesh... after all... they are just stupid animals...*

Liliana, who was just wandering in the city, sudently felt something.

*The alley...*

She silently runned down the street to join the dark alley. She hided behind a wall and gave a quick look. The vampire was almost already finished. It was too late.

*Damned...I'm too late...*

The vampire let go of the man, who heavily fell on the ground. As he was turning his back to walk away, Liliana got out of her hiding-place.

"Still hunting in the darkness of the alley, isn't it Sir?..."

The vampire was walking silently in the shadows of the night, there in the back alley, where the sun never goes, not even at day time. His moment have been stoped by this women voice who came from behind. He didn't turn around to look at her, he could simply feel her. Coldly he said to the women :

" This is not that i don't have taste, this is because i don't eliminate important life "

He closed his eyes for a second then opened them once more. Still really calm, the lord said with a deeper voice :

" Noble people blood would have been good too, but this man did a bad thing, i gave him his last punishement "

He didn't even turned around to look at the slayer, he stayed there, halfly in the shadows, slightly under the moon light.

She smiled a bit.

"Wise speak Sir...This man deserved to die, but you?"

She walked near the vampire, but stayed at a respectable distance. Then she muterred...

"Do you...?"

He finally turned around, looking at the slayer who was standing there, now in front of him. A small smirk apeared on his face, the moon light was revealing his fangs to the women. Some blod was still dripping from it, but Villius wipped it away a graceful way.

The lady asked him if he deserved to die like the man did. A simple question that he had the answer since long ago.

"I probably do, like most of the people in this city, like you my lady, but my time isn't come until i acomplish what i want to do"

"What you want to do? Werewolves are beast, bloodythirsty monsters, I agree with you for this."

She gave a look to the dead man. A little pool of blood was slowly forming around him.

"I'm a slayer, after all, this is my..."job"...I should kill you(She smiled and let her hand run on the handle of her sword)But you're intriguing me, you're pretty interessting..."

Liliana slowly walked around him.

"You must be pretty hard to kill, thought. It will be a bigger challenge for me when the time will come, even if I die."

The slayer was now heeding for him, he was looking at every single mouvement that she was doing around me. Was she expecting to end the vampire lord life? Villius almost thought that it was funny and silly from her to think about it, it was so hopeless for her. Villius father was a strong man, it took many slayer and lycan to kill him and Villius was stronger than him when he was young, now that he grew up, he was more strong that he use to be. It was almost making the lord laughing, seeing the poor slayer trying to kill him.

She was walking around him, maybe she was trying to stress him a bit, but still he was calm as always. He quickly unsheated his sword the float slightly over the ground to move back. He wanted a better view on her.

"Come on and try me if you want it to be your final night" Said Villius with his darkess voice.

Liliana laught and a wild rictus twist her beautiful features.

"I'm maybe crazy, but I'm not dumb! Trying to kill you now would be suicide."

She put the top of the blade of her sword on the ground. Her eyes got fixed at the shiny sword of the vampire, then, she looked him right in his dark eyes.

The lord held his sword with one hand, looking at the slayer almost coming for him. It seemed that she was more smart than she looked like, she didn't had the intention to try to slay him at the moment, maybe another time she would do it. Villius did a smirk, she was right about the fact that trying to kill him would be suicide, he was happy to see a slayer with a good way to think.

He could see her eyes fixed on the silver blade that Villius had in his posession. He didn't said a word, he was just standing there, looking at her.

The silence was becoming heavy.

"Nice sword you have. (She smiled)and I see it's silver"

She lean against the wall.

*No, I can't kill him now...*

She was smart and young, sadly she was on the slayer side, it would have made a nice vampire for him. He was looking at here before he jumped to the wall, lying against it like a spider.

"You are young and smart, you might have a futur, but who knows what you will become young slayer!"

She gently smiled and watched the vampire climb on the wall.

"Thank you Sir! Only time will tell, but I'm sure we'll meet soon enough again..."

She politely bowed and turn her back to walk out of the alley.
